3. Our care services
Service agreements
Before care begins, we provide a written service agreement setting out the care to be delivered, the schedule, the fees, and the responsibilities of both parties. Care is provided in accordance with this agreement, your individual care plan, and our CQC registration conditions.
Changes to care
We conduct regular care reviews and may adjust your care plan in consultation with you, your family, and your healthcare team. We will always give reasonable notice of any significant changes to your care arrangements.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule a care visit please give us as much notice as possible. Our cancellation policy and any applicable charges are set out in your service agreement. We reserve the right to charge for visits cancelled with less than 24 hours notice where a carer has been allocated.
Ending a care arrangement
Either party may end a care arrangement by giving the notice period set out in the service agreement. We reserve the right to terminate care immediately where continuing to do so would place a carer or client at risk, or where our reasonable instructions are not being followed.
4. Fees and payment
Our fees are set out in your service agreement. We invoice in accordance with the agreed schedule. Payment is due within the timeframe stated on each invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.
If your care is funded by a local authority, NHS Continuing Healthcare, or a Direct Payment, the funding arrangements set out in your service agreement will apply. Any shortfall between public funding and our fees remains your responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Our responsibilities
We are committed to delivering care that is safe, effective, compassionate, and responsive to your needs. As a CQC-registered provider we are required to meet the Fundamental Standards set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. These include:
